It won’t take long to get the hang of this. Here’s a quick guide for new users.

QUICK GUIDE

We’re not seeking to rewrite the Wiki here. Here are the very basics:

Personal Vehicle (PV): a non-Premium vehicle can be made a personal vehicle by adding a tracker and insurance at a Mod Shop, or by driving it into (and then back out of) a Garage. Otherwise, bought.

Garage: Can be a stand-alone property, or party of an Office, Nightclub, or Arcade.

GARAGE TYPES

Standard Garage: a non-Premium vehicle can be made a personal vehicle by adding a tracker and insurance at a Mod Shop, or by driving it into (and then back out of) any Standard Garage. Has up to 10 spots for Personal Vehicles.

Special Garage/Workshop: A special floor that holds only specific vehicles such as the Avenger or Terrorbyte. Some properties mix these.

BY PROPERTY

Stand-alone Garage: Up to 10 PVs (dependent on what you buy). Can only drive in non-premium vehicles stolen off the street. Purchased vehicles will be delivered to the garage of your choice. *If the garage is full, you risk losing a vehicle.*

PROPERTY GARAGE TYPES

Nightclub: first floor will only hold one PV. Add up to 3 additional 10-PV spots for 31 in total.

Arcade Garage: Gives 10 additional PV spots.

Clubhouse: up to 10 PVs. Bikes only.

Facility: up to 7 PVs plus specialist weaponized vehicles (Chernobog, RCV, Khanjali, Thruster) and the Avenger.

Bunker: no PV spots. You can drive in, but the vehicle will be returned to the garage it came from assuming it has PV status.

Office Garage: while the office itself has no parking, each additional garage gives you 20 PV spaces (up to 60). You can land in any air vehicle and it will normally remain on the roof, even if stolen. Ensure you put your Landing Gear down before entering the Landing animation, or it will explode when you return to it!

Hanger: no PV spaces, cannot drive in. Driving in a purchased plane will make it an Air PV (APV).

EXITING PARKING

Its efficient to exit direct to a vehicle and each area has its own options.

Stand-alone, Arcade, Office Clubhouse & Property Garage: Drive out with any vehicle. This makes it a Personal Vehicle and adds tracking/insurance.

Nightclub: Drive out as per normal. Can also take lift to Terrorbyte floor and exit with Terrorbyte.

Facility: Drive out, or call an owned Pegasus vehicle from the front desk.

Bunker: car will despawn, can exit with the MOC. Otherwise, exit and call a vehicle via the Interaction menu, or telephone Mechanic (slightly slower).

Hanger: can exit in an Aircraft.

Office: call a personal vehicle to the ground, or a Pegasus vehicle to the roof.

Vehicle/Cargo Warehouse: cannot exit to a vehicle. Exit and call a vehicle via the Interaction menu, or telephone Mechanic (slightly slower).

LOSING CARS

Its possible to lose a car; if you have driven a vehicle into a garage but never driven it out, its possible it will not gain PV status. 

If you then buy a vehicle or win it on the Lucky Wheel, and send it to the full garage, you risk losing the vehicle.

This can also happen if you drive into a garage that is full and one of the vehicles in there isn’t a PV.

Its best to ensure you always leave a space free; so in the case of the base Nightclub with only one space, be careful only to enter in a purchased or checked PV (with tracker and insurance) otherwise you may not get a warning if you later attempt to drive in and “overwrite” the parking space.
